    I love great coffee. So much so, that I often spend more time thinking about it, writing about and drinking it than I do anything else—including running my buiness. I'm a former barista who gave up the café life to study design. After years of work being fueled by coffee, I'm now working towards coffee being my source of work. Along with providing a resource for coffee lovers, I also design t-shirts and other products for fellow coffee enthusiasts to share their passion proudly. I help organize coffee education events under the name Coffee Common and contribute to a blog about Nordic Coffee Culture as the resident American ex-pat.

    Coffee, design, architecture, & travel—thankfully the things I love most are often intertwined. New experiences in new places lead to an enlightened perspective. Coffee tends to be the perfect addition to those moments.

  • ACTIVITIES

    Brewing coffee, drinking it, writing about it, designing for companies who roast it and sell it, organizing events to promote it, inspiring others to drink more of it and of higher quality—all while remembering the importance of the farmers at the beginning of the process, who are overlooked far too often.

The DETPAK COFFEE PICASSO Challenge has landed. CHECK YOUR PROFILE PAGE TO ENTER!

Description: 
What do Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dalí and Paul Klee have in common? They all had coffee addictions and didn't have video cameras. 

You on the other hand are in far different league. You have a coffee addiction AND can prove it with a movie clip.

So film yourself, creating your best Latte-Art in a DETPAK Ripple-Wrap™ Hot Cup.

No excuses. 

Must haves: 
Contain liquid coffee and milk. Use any other ingredients you want.


Use a DETPAK Ripple-Wrap™ Hot Cup. If you can get your hands on a limited SM2V DETPAK Hot Cup, even better! Or, you can use a ceramic mug with a DETPAK logo (you can get this logo, in SPONSORS TOOLS  from the TOOLBOX). Make sure you show the DETPAK logo or mention “DETPAK”. 

Spice it up:
Recreate a famous painting!!! Extra kudos if you do one from one of the artists above.

Don't do this:
This is very important. NO STENCIL ART…we really hate stencils around here, amongst other things. Stencils and racists…not cool.
